This week, we’re shining our spotlight on the three Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy locations in southeastern Missouri!
These guys are committed to improving patient health, AND they are also making a difference in their local economy by supporting small businesses like themselves.
Among the various services they provide (immunizations, health screenings, DME, etc.), the locations pride themselves on offering the Pharmers Market, which features products created by merchants in the community!
The Parkland Health Mart chain brainstormed on ways to implement this “local business supporting local business” model.
Not only are these guys promoting a “shop local” mentality in their pharmacy, but the products they’re featuring are good for you!
Products range from: an all-natural cream made from real bee venom that provides arthritis and other pain relief, a locally-grown honey that is geared towards patients with allergies, a skincare line made with all-natural ingredients, an organic soap made from goats’ milk, and so much more!
All of the friendly staff at Parkland Health Mart are community-oriented, and it shows in their day-to-day interactions with patients and fellow business professionals.
